About Your Host
I grew up in Lewiston and love this unique border town, rich in history. Lewiston, a quaint hamlet near Niagara Falls, was burned down in the War of 1812. I am deeply familiar with this area’s past and present and enjoy interacting with my guests. I strive not only to welcome them but also to guide them toward having the best vacation possible.
Why they chose this property
This is a wonderful property. The neighborhood is so quiet and friendly. It is only three streets of small houses and cottages with the wonder of Lake Ontario, right there in your backyard. It is a very special place, and one can’t help but bond and relax while there. It is so close to all the action, yet it is wonderful to come home to peace and tranquility!
What makes this property unique
There are so many benefits, it’s hard to know where to start. The lakefront is just a few steps away from the house. Although it’s private to only the residents of this small community, it feels like having your own private lake because there is seldom anyone at the lakefront. There is a wonderful spacious living room with a wraparound couch that is perfect for visiting with family and friends. I love dogs and even offer an extra service where I can watch your dog with tender loving care if you decide to take a long day trip to Canada or elsewhere.
Located in Youngstown, this vacation home is near theme parks and on the waterfront. Check out Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill for shopping, or experience popular attractions like the Aquarium of Niagara and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. Also worth visiting are Village Vineyard Wine Boutique and Whirlpool Aero Car. Enjoy water activities such as jet skiing and water tubing, or explore the great outdoors through hunting and horse riding.

I am a big reader, so naturally, I have three full bookcases at my guest house in different rooms, ready for my guests to enjoy.
My favorite books to read for relaxation are mystery novels. I travel quite a bit, and when visiting a new location, I always try to stop by the local bookstore and ask about mystery books written by local authors, often set in the area. If I really love a book, I write a little note inside it. My favorite ones are arranged on one shelf, and I also have many books that guests are welcome to take if they wish.
I also have books on local history (as this is a very historic area), general history, travel, geography, children’s books, games, special interests, biographies, and magazines.
I have always loved hotels or inns that feature libraries or reading rooms. A wall lined with books creates such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Relax, enjoy, and feel free to take a book or leave one!
